Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).


Echodyne is seeking a Sr. HRBP to join our fast-growing team.

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to leaders across our manufacturing operations. This role provides comprehensive HR support, including workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, performance development, and organizational effectiveness. The Sr. HRBP leverages experience within manufacturing environments to understand the unique challenges of production settings, ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with business objectives and that the employee experience supports engagement, retention, and productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with plant and functional leadership to align HR strategies with manufacturing goals and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing insights on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Develop and implement engagement and retention strategies tailored to the manufacturing workforce.
  • Support communication initiatives that promote transparency, trust, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted training and development programs for hourly employees, supervisors, and plant managers.
  • Support hiring process and hire top talent.
  • Lead succession planning and career pathing initiatives within manufacturing teams.
  • Facilitate coaching and leadership development to strengthen frontline management capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, safety requirements, and workplace policies.
  • Partner with Safety Teams to reinforce safety culture and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and reporting for audits and internal reviews.
  • Support organizational changes, including process improvements, system implementations, and restructuring efforts.
  • Guide leaders through change management best practices to minimize disruption and support adoption.
  • Support annual compensation, merit, and bonus processes, ensuring fairness and equity across employee groups.
  • Partner with leaders to execute performance management programs, providing coaching on feedback and evaluation best practices.
  • Analyze HR data and trends (turnover, absenteeism, training effectiveness, etc.) to inform decision-making.
  • Recommend data-driven strategies to improve workforce stability and performance.
  • Act as a role model for ethical behavior, leadership, and professional HR practice.
  • Other related tasks required to fulfill the needs of the business

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years supporting manufacturing or production operations
  • Proven experience handling complex employee relations in both hourly and salaried workforces
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)

  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices and workforce engagement in production settings

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Primarily office-based within manufacturing plant or operations setting
  • Requires regular presence on the production floor to engage with employees and leadership
  • Ability to manage high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Frequent walking within manufacturing facility, including exposure to noise, machinery, and safety protocols
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

WHAT WE OFFER

The pay range for this position is $85,00 - $120,000 annually.
