About the Position

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior IT Engineer, who will report directly to the CISO/Head of Corporate IT. In this critical role, you'll be tasked with architecting and managing our IT and SaaS infrastructure and directly contributing to the strategic direction of our IT operations. This position offers the unique opportunity to shape the future of our IT landscape, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Ideal candidates will be energized by the prospect of leveraging technology to solve complex problems and drive innovation within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will:

  • Manage and optimize Okta configurations and integrations for a global organization, including Sandboxes and multiple profile masters.

  • Oversee the management of internal productivity and workplace SaaS (e.g., Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, Slack, GitHub, etc.), to enhance the employee experience.

  • Lead endpoint engineering efforts for a mixed macOS and Windows device environment focusing on Iru (f/k/a Kandji) and Intune.

  • Serve as an escalation point for end user technology issues.

  • Implement automation for IT functions and repetitive tasks using tools like Okta Workflows and Jira automation to enhance and develop the IT environment.

  • Quickly evaluate technical requirements and develop long-term, sustainable solutions for the organization.

  • Demonstrated success in reducing costs and increasing efficiency across various teams within the organization.

  • Revise documentation for all relevant configurations and IT improvements.

You have:

  • 7+ years of experience in managing SaaS platforms within midsize enterprises

  • Proficient in any major public cloud with a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies.

  • Experience in DevOps/SRE practices, including infra-as-code and a solid grasp of collaboration tool functionalities and integrations.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working with distributed teams and working asynchronously.

  • Ability to mentor and guide team members, keeping their skills and knowledge up-to-date.

  • Demonstrated expertise in automating IT operations with advanced tools and workflows.

  • Ability to innovate and deliver on major IT focused initiatives.

Technical Environment

We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
