Your territory

As part of our Software Developmentteam, you will:

  • Develop innovative software solutions that have a real-world impact, helping millions of pets stay safe and connected around the globe
  • Implement features that will reach customers in days
  • Work in a fully containerized environment (Docker, AWS ECS)
  • Keep an eye on application performance and site reliability with our monitoring solutions
  • Stay up to date with state-of-the-art technologies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and project needs
  • Learn from experienced developers in an agile environment
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
  • Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or graduated from an Austrian university/FH in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working on university or private projects in at least one of the following technologies: Java, Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin
  • First professional experience, such as internships, with the specified tech stack will make you stand out
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Rails or Angular is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and to work as part of an awesome, international team
  • Valid Austrian work permit
  • Very good English skills
