Your territory

As part of our Mobile team, you will:

  • Bring your personal touch to the Tractive GPS app trusted by pet parents worldwide - design and implement new features using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern iOS frameworks
  • Lead architecture decisions and establish best practices to keep our iOS app state-of-the-art and scalable
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Firmware, and Backend to deliver seamless features and keep everything running at 100%
  • Optimize app performance and stability, and implement automated testing strategies to ensure exceptional user experiences
  • Stay current with iOS platform updates and industry trends, and translate them into actionable improvements
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase "...because that's how we’ve always done things"
  • Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show your potential, and attend workshops which help you get to the next level

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped apps
  • Expert-level knowledge of Swift and modern iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, Swift Concurrency)
  • Deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Coordinator, Factory, SOLID) and iOS Design Guidelines
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Fastlane, Bitbucket Pipelines), automated testing (XCTest, unit tests, UI tests with XCUITest), and dependency injection
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and ideally Bluetooth, Swift Package Manager, Core Data, and close collaboration with Design on UI/UX
  • Proven track record of mentoring developers and maintaining high standards, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Very good English skills
