We are seeking experienced and dedicated math tutors in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Although instruction will take place at the school, the ideal candidate will have strong tech and online education skills, be adept at working with small groups, and be comfortable with lesson planning. We are hiring for a position on our substitute list, not a full time position.

The tutor should be caring, dependable, and able to provide personalized instruction for middle or high school students. This position requires the ability to plan and deliver daily lessons in high school or middle school math or English. The tutor may meet with teachers to provide progress updates on students and strategize about opportunities for improvement.

A teaching background is not required, but it is preferable. Being bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus. To be successful in this role, the tutor must have strong tech skills and a passion to help students succeed. Establishing relationships with students is essential. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be committed to being on-time when scheduled.

Requirements

• FAST fingerprint clearance
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
• Subject-matter expertise in K-12 English and/or K-12 Math.
