Our Marketing Communications team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. You will be responsible for supporting the execution of marketing initiatives for TrellisWare that include trade shows and events, marketing collateral coordination, swag, and assisting with corporate marketing and public relations campaigns. You will coordinate all aspects of planning, execution, budget tracking, and follow up for all trade shows, conferences, meetings, and special events for the Marketing and Business Development teams. You will also support marketing campaigns by utilizing Salesforce to enter and track leads collected at trade shows and other events.

The essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning and execution of all aspects of external trade shows, conferences, and events, as well as with internal company events as needed. Includes coordinating logistics with show/event organizers, completion of required forms/contracts, staffing, booth layout, giveaways, shipping of trade show supplies, and tracking of sales leads (compilations and outbound follow up).
- Support annual trade show budget planning, as well as monthly tracking for trade show and event expenses. Includes researching tradeshows/events, estimating cost to exhibit/participate, and helping to define the yearly plan to be approved and executed.
- Maintain and update tradeshow and events calendar internally and on company web site using WordPress.
- Support planning of marketing campaigns and execution using Salesforce campaign marketing tools, including tracking.
- Support the Marcom department in logistics coordination and production of marketing collateral (such as brochures and data sheets), inventory management, and outside printing required for trade shows/events/campaigns.
- Proactively collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and People and Culture teams to ensure project completion with technical accuracy and current business messaging.
- Develops relationships with team members built on trust and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and work experience requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field of study required.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant marketing and/or communications experience.
To be considered for this position, you would need to meet, at a minimum, the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here:
- Highly motivated person who is not afraid to take initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Salesforce and MailChimp.
- Must be detail oriented, as well as being able to handle and track multiple projects and deliverables associated with shows and events.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated experience with the following:
- Trade show and event planning (minimum 1-3 years of experience).
- Using detailed systems to track tradeshows, conferences, and events.
- Must have superior organization skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to drive cross-functional projects.
- Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.
- Strong initiative, proactive work ethic and prioritization skills.
- Trustable judgement and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Effective execution and decision making.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
