About the Role: This is a part time seasonal position. We are seeking a part-time seasonal HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department in daily administrative tasks and HR functions during our busy season (October - January). The HR Assistant will play a key role in maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Support the onboarding including preparation of orientation materials and coordination of welcome sessions.
  • Support offboarding processes including exit documentation, final paperwork, and transition processing.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related documents, such as employment letters, performance evaluations, and disciplinary notices.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Help organize and coordinate HR projects, events, and training sessions.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of HR data and employee information.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
  • Maintain office policies and procedures, and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Support office administration duties including ordering supplies, coordinating team-building activities as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR software or systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Must be available for in office work three days per week near Howard Hughes Center

Required Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with HR software or systems.

Pay range and compensation package: Competitive pay based on experience.
