Sugarfina is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Junior Retoucher & Photographer to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about product photography and post-production, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and brand aesthetics. This position will focus heavily on post-production and photo retouching and will play a key role in supporting the studio team with ecommerce and lifestyle photography, contributing to product launches and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and retouch ecommerce photography for upcoming product launches, ensuring alignment with Sugarfina brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the retouching of lifestyle campaign imagery for digital and print use.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to collect and organize product samples needed for shoots.
  • Maintain file organization and asset management for photography deliverables.
  • Support the Manager of Photography as needed during lifestyle campaign photoshoots, including setup and behind-the-scenes assistance.
  • Follow production schedules and deadlines as directed by the Manager of Photography and Studio Operations.

Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.F.A. in photography or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years of experience in photography, photo editing, or studio production
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
  • Familiarity with studio lighting equipment and Canon camera systems
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be available to work on-site in Westchester, CA three days per week
