Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate, consistent, and complete product records in NetSuite, Shopify, and GS1
• Issue purchase orders to suppliers, ensuring timely procurement and accuracy in order details
• Review open purchase orders and update internal records with confirmed shipping and delivery dates
• Review and reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders and item receipts
• Maintain material stock files (candy, packaging, labels), providing recommendations for material purchases based on inventory levels and demand forecasts
• Lead cost-saving efforts by identifying opportunities to negotiate better pricing, terms, and payment structures with suppliers
• Compile purchase volumes by supplier to support sourcing strategies and evaluate supplier performance
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage the artwork proof approval process
• Coordinate inbound and outbound sample shipments for new product launches
• Update and analyze ad hoc inventory and sales reports

Education & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years buying experience
• Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong forecasting and modeling skills
