About Starbridge

Starbridge helps go-to-market teams win in the public sector. Government buyers signal their priorities constantly, in council meetings, budget documents, RFPs, and public records, but that intelligence is scattered across thousands of sources and impossible to track by hand. Our platform surfaces those signals, connects them to the right buyers, and turns them into pipeline.

We move fast, stay close to our customers, and are building the category. This is a chance to join early and shape how we scale.

About the role:

We want to make building for the government cool. Seriously.

We're tired of B2B SaaS getting all the spotlight. The work and strategy behind selling to the government is harder and more interesting, and nobody covers it. Like how Ramp reinvented corporate card content, we're looking to do the same for the business of government data.

Starbridge is building the Bloomberg terminal for public sector data. We know what every government agency in America is buying and discussing, and how 600+ enterprises win their business. Nobody has told that story well.

You'll define how the world sees Starbridge. You'll establish our voice and figure out the stories we're uniquely positioned to tell. The goal: GTM leaders treat Starbridge as the authoritative voice on selling to the public sector, and want to learn from us as much as buy from us.

What You'll Do:

Own the story of this market. The arguments, the trends, the pieces people forward to a teammate to prove a point. You decide what we're saying and why anyone should care.

  • Build the content operating system. Automate the content we know works: product use case videos, GTM playbooks, company metrics and milestones. You're comfortable using AI to cut the time without cutting the quality.

  • Push the border on creative content that resonates with our audience. Work with our brand team on the content that can't be automated (the stuff that only lands because a human made it).

  • Amplify the executive voice. Our execs write their own content (and like it that way). You'll make it land and scale its distribution even when the words are theirs.

  • Tell the customer story. Customer proof and case studies: content we write ourselves, and encouraging customers to share their own product stories.

  • Own press. You'll own our PR relationships and create a content flywheel for how we distribute our insights.

  • Run the feedback loop. Know what worked and why (engagement by format, topic, funnel stage) and let that change what we make more of.

What success looks like:

  • Authority. GTM leaders want to learn from Starbridge as much as buy from us.

  • Branded search. People look for us by name at a multiple of today's volume.

  • Our work travels. Pieces cited, quoted, and forwarded beyond our own audience by journalists, independent media publications, and prospects who show up already knowing what we do.

  • An engine that gets better. Output and engagement grow quarter over quarter, with a clear read on which formats and topics are driving it.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in B2B, content, customer, or product marketing

  • You've built an audience from zero in a subject people told you was boring, and you proved it wasn't. You are, or have been, a creator yourself.

  • You operate at an early-stage pace. You've built a content function without a calendar handed to you. You're comfortable with ambiguity, high standards, and shipping daily.

  • You have range: from meme marketing to thought leadership to case studies to product launch scripts.

  • You can find the story in a spreadsheet. Our best raw material is data nobody else has.

  • You have a specific, well-formed opinion ("taste") about why most B2B content is bad, and you can say what you'd do instead.

Interview Process:

We move fast — really fast. Getting back to someone today beats tomorrow, and our interview process reflects that mindset. Please keep us posted on your timeline so we can move quickly and speed things up where needed. For this role, expect a 30-minute recruiter screen, a 45-minute conversation with the hiring manager, and a one-day onsite that includes three 30-minute interviews and a one-hour case study. All interviews are conducted via Google Meet and onsite in our NYC office.
