About the role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain the automation frameworks that will power our testing strategy as we scale. This role is a chance to set the foundation for high-quality engineering practices, working closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your might be a fit if you:
Design and develop automation frameworks
Build robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones
Create, document, and maintain test scripts & scenarios
Write clear, reusable automated test scripts and well-structured test scenarios for various levels of testing (integration, API, end-to-end).
Implement CI/CD integration
Embed automated tests within Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops. - Plan and strategize testing
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies, define test approaches, and identify relevant test data
Manage defects
Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs; collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Collaborate across teams
Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to embed quality from the start ("shift-left" testing).
Skills Knowledge And Expertise
5+ years of QA engineering experience.
Hands-on test automation and coding experience using Playwright (or similar) with TypeScript.
Strong documentation skills for creating detailed, easy-to-understand test scenarios.
Product or business analytics experience is a plus.
Interview Process
After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. We will then send you a technical assessment which is a programming (language independent) and SQL exercise. After that, you will be invited to a 30-minute phone interview during which a member of our team will make sure you're a good fit for the role. You will have the opportunity ask questions and learn more about the role as well. After that, you will enter the main process, which consists of two interviews:
Technical interview
Product thinking and past work
Our goal is to finish the process within one week. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.
