Santa Clara, CA (Onsite. Not a remote role)

The Lead Supply Chain Specialist position is a key role requiring an enthusiastic self-starter with a strong aim to improve existing processes and systems. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. This role is responsible for managing supply, procurement responsibilities, and providing data-driven insights to support supply planning and operational efficiency.

The Lead Supply Chain Specialist must act and conduct company business in an honest, ethical and lawful manner, consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct, other company policies and the AdvaMed Code of Conduct and/or any other applicable industry code(s) of conduct. Specific Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, supplier capacity, and inventory targets.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, on time delivery, forecast accuracy).
  • Use ERP and planning tools to manage and analyze supply data.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Optimize inventory levels across the network to balance service levels and working capital.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, and supplier issues.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process from a supply perspective.
  • Communicate supply plans and changes effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage purchase orders, including updating delivery dates and ensuring accuracy
  • Reviewing open orders and suggesting pull-in or pull-out actions based on supply chain needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Requires 8+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain operations
  • 2-5 years of medical device experience is preferred

Expertise and Attributes:

  • Knowledge and familiarity of applicable regulations/standards (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971) as required to perform the job function
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems. QAD experience is a plus
  • PowerBI experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task
  • Time management skills are critical to success
  • Must work well with minimal supervision

Must be able to drive projects to completion working in diverse situations

Please note that this is not a remote role. Candidates must reside in the SF Bay Area.

Salary range: $125,000 - $140,000. The compensation range for this position is specific to the location and is in good faith what SI-BONE expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Supplemental pay: bonus and stock
