Job Description:
We are looking for a Data Researcher to join our Business Development team remotely. The Data Researcher will support our outbound sales efforts by identifying, scraping, filtering, and organizing high-quality data for our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Account Executives (AEs). You will help maintain a strong lead pipeline, ensuring only the best-fit properties and owners are prioritized for outreach and providing accurate insights directly in the CRM.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Scraping
- Build, manage, and refine scraping workflows to identify qualified homeowners, brokers, and property listings across platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, Zillow, Realtor.com, and more.
- Maintain and evolve a clear filter for what constitutes a qualified lead based on market, property type, and ownership profile.
Data Management & CRM Integration
- Act as the gatekeeper of data quality—only pushing qualified, verified leads into the CRM.
- Enrich CRM records with actionable insights (building policies, owner notes, platform listings, etc.) to inform BDR outreach.
- Keep CRM clean, well-organized, and up-to-date with clear labeling and lifecycle tracking.
Cross-functional Support
- Partner with the business development team to refine targeting strategy based on real-time feedback and closed-won deals.
- Proactively spot trends and opportunities in the data to help us adjust our market strategy and buy box.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in data research, scraping, or lead generation role—ideally in a startup or high-velocity sales environment.
- Experience setting up and managing and optimizing a first-class CRM, ideally Hubspot
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high bar for data cleanliness.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and a bias toward action and iteration.
- Bonus: experience in real estate, luxury markets, or B2B sales.
