Join a small team of engineers, scientists and makers creating the next generation of tools for medical imaging! We’re looking for a motivated individual with a passion to tinker and learn new skills. If that sounds like you, read on and let us know what you geek-out about!Role- Contribute to design concepts for new products and tools- Assist in manufacturing of customer orders- Modify and maintain hardware and software tools for production automation- Ensure maker-style laboratory remains clean and organized- Logging system performance metrics- Contributing to marketing and branding efforts- Other random tasks that come up in a small businessDesired experience- Ability to work safely with tools commonly found in a maker-space (3D printers, laser cutters, analytical scales etc.)- Exposure to CAD tools to develop 3D designs- Experience working on a creative or technical project (i.e. Photography, 3D-printing, web design, coding, toaster repair, etc.)- Knowledge of software scripting concepts or open source projects (ideally Python)- Working towards BS in Engineering or lab-based science preferred, alternatively 1-year technical work experienceHours- Ideally FT, but negotiable (between 20-40hrs/week)Location- White River Junction, VermontPay Range- $15 - 25/hour, depending on educational stageInterested?- Send an email to jobs@QUELimaging.com with “Maker Padawan” in the subject line.
