Join a small team of engineers, scientists and makers creating the next generation of tools for medical imaging. Role: Contribute to design concepts for new products and tools; Assist in manufacturing of customer orders; Modify and maintain hardware and software tools for production automation; Ensure maker-style laboratory remains clean and organized; Log system performance metrics; Contribute to marketing and branding efforts; Other random tasks that come up in a small business. Desired experience: Ability to work safely with tools commonly found in a maker-space (3D printers, laser cutters, analytical scales, etc.); Exposure to CAD tools to develop 3D designs; Experience working on a creative or technical project (e.g., photography, 3D-printing, web design, coding, toaster repair, etc.); Knowledge of software scripting concepts or open source projects (ideally Python); Working towards BS in Engineering or lab-based science preferred, alternatively 1-year technical work experience. Hours: Ideally full-time, but negotiable (20–40 hrs/week). Location: White River Junction, Vermont. Pay Range: $15–25/hour, depending on educational stage.
