Role: Provide analytical chemistry research support to process improvement and new product development; Enhance methods to perform material optical characterizations; Develop experimental plans to investigate new manufacturing methodologies; Characterization of inorganic compounds and materials; Collaborate with optical design engineers; Follow and continuously improve quality management practices; Operate test equipment (Spectrometer, multimeter, photodiodes, cameras, etc.); Potential for management track. Desired experience: 3+ years experience performing optical characterization; 2+ years working with in vivo models; 2+ years experience with photoluminescence spectroscopy; Experience operating a laboratory environment; Demonstrated analysis of optical imaging technologies (photography, fluorescence, lifetime, etc.); Exposure to quality management systems or ISO manufacturing environments; Experience with photocurable materials; Ability to work safely with tools commonly found in a maker-space; MS/PhD or 3+ years industry experience.
