Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$135,000 - $198,000

What You'll Be Doing:

We are seeking an experienced Product Management leader to drive the strategy and development of our custom software platforms supporting large molecule drug discovery. This role will lead the product vision and execution for sophisticated systems that orchestrate early decision-making by integrating data from Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), high-throughput assays, and in silico modeling. You will work closely with engineering teams, scientists, and stakeholders to deliver solutions that enable higher throughput and more efficient large molecule drug discovery pipelines leveraging AI capabilities.

What You Should Bring:

  • Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and vision for large molecule discovery software platforms

  • Lead product discovery and definition processes including user research, requirements gathering, and feature prioritization

  • Partner with engineering leadership to translate complex scientific requirements into clear product specifications and execution plans

  • Drive product development using agile methodologies, ensuring regular delivery of high-value features

  • Develop and track key metrics to measure product success and adoption

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tech at Lilly colleagues, scientists, researchers, automation teams, and executives to ensure alignment and successful delivery

  • Champion user needs and experience while balancing technical feasibility and business value

  • Guide the integration of AI capabilities to optimize experimental processes in drug discovery

Your Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field

  • 8+ years of software product management experience with proven track record of taking complex products from vision through launch

  • Experience working in life sciences, laboratory environments, or similar technical-scientific domain

  • Strong technical background with understanding of software development processes and modern technologies

  • Demonstrated success in driving product strategy and execution in complex organizational environments

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Preferences:

  • Knowledge of bioinformatics, computational biology, or drug discovery processes

  • Experience with scientific software platforms or research tools

  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in life sciences

  • Experience managing products in regulated environments

  • Track record of successful cross-functional leadership
