The Opportunity

Parakeet Health is hiring an Event Marketing Coordinator to own the planning, execution, and ROI measurement of the company’s conference and field marketing program. You will be the first dedicated events hire, working directly with the CCO and commercial leadership to build Parakeet’s brand presence at healthcare industry conferences, executive roundtables, and specialty society meetings.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is organized, resourceful, high-energy, and excited to build a function from the ground up at one of the fastest-growing AI companies in healthcare. You will have immediate ownership and visibility—not years of waiting to manage your first event.

Why This Role Matters

Events are a critical pipeline driver in enterprise healthcare sales. Conference presence, executive dinners, and specialty society engagement are how Parakeet builds relationships with the COOs, CIOs, and PE operating partners who buy our platform. In 2026, Parakeet’s event calendar spans specialty and vertical specific conferences, multiple executive roundtable dinners, and a growing webinar program—and this role owns making all of it happen.

What You’ll Own

End-to-End Event Logistics: Manage all logistics for healthcare industry conferences (HIMSS, AAD, AAO, ACG, ASRS, HFMA, Becker’s, ViVE, specialty society meetings) including booth registration, sponsorship coordination, signage, shipping, travel, and on-site execution.

Executive Roundtable & Dinner Programs: Coordinate intimate executive events (10–25 attendees) targeting PE operating partners, health system COOs, and specialty practice leaders. Own venue sourcing, invitation management, RSVP tracking, and on-site logistics.

Pre-Event & Post-Event Campaigns: Partner with Sales and demand engineering to build pre-event outreach sequences, at-event meeting schedules for AEs, and post-event follow-up campaigns in HubSpot. Ensure every event dollar converts to pipeline.

Webinar & Virtual Event Production: Manage the production calendar for webinars, virtual roundtables, and customer spotlight sessions. Handle registration, platform setup, promotion, and recording/distribution.

Collateral & Swag Management: Coordinate production of booth materials, one-pagers, case study leave-behinds, branded merchandise, and demo station setup. Maintain inventory and shipping logistics.

Budget Tracking & Vendor Management: Own the events budget tracker. Manage vendor relationships for AV, catering, signage, booth design, and print. Negotiate contracts and track spend against plan.

Event ROI Reporting: Track and report on event performance metrics: pipeline generated per event, meetings booked, leads captured, cost-per-meeting, and closed-won attribution. Build post-event reports for commercial leadership.

Brand Presence & Content Capture: Coordinate on-site content capture (photography, video, social media coverage) and post-event content distribution. Ensure Parakeet’s brand presence is consistent and compelling at every touchpoint.

Who You Are

You are someone who gets things done. You are obsessively organized, thrive on logistics, and take genuine pride in flawless execution. You are comfortable managing multiple events simultaneously, working across time zones, and solving problems on the fly when things inevitably go sideways on-site. You want to be at a startup where you can learn fast, own a function, and see the direct impact of your work on pipeline and revenue.

Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years in event coordination, field marketing, or marketing operations. B2B SaaS or healthcare experience is a strong plus but not required for the right candidate.

Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills. You can manage 5+ concurrent events at different stages without dropping a ball. Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Notion, or similar).

CRM & Marketing Tools: Comfortable working in HubSpot (or similar CRM/MAP) for campaign tracking, lead management, and email workflows. Willing to learn quickly if you haven’t used HubSpot specifically.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You will interact with vendors, venue contacts, conference organizers, and internal stakeholders daily.

Travel: Willingness to travel 30–40% for conferences, dinners, and on-site event execution. Events cluster in Q1 and Q3–Q4.

Startup Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, fast timelines, and wearing multiple hats. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you figure it out and get it done.

Bonus: Experience with healthcare conferences (HIMSS, AAD, specialty society meetings), HubSpot, Canva or basic design tools, and/or video production for webinars.

Growth Path

This role is designed as a launchpad. As Parakeet scales to $50M+, the events and field marketing function will grow significantly. High performers in this role can expect to progress to:

Year 1–2: Event Marketing Coordinator → Senior Event Marketing Coordinator. Expanded budget ownership, strategic input on event selection, and management of event-specific vendors.

Year 2–3: Senior Coordinator → Field & Events Marketing Manager. Own the full field marketing strategy, manage a coordinator hire, and have a seat at the commercial leadership table.
