We offer a natural, intelligent, and compliant AI voice answering service for patients and healthcare practices. We automate repetitive phone tasks like appointment scheduling, billing, and general inquiries to give the staff much needed time to take care of higher touch tasks and requests.

We are a team of seasoned healthcare industry veterans (One Medical IPO, Doximity IPO, Epocrates IPO) and technologists (Twitter, Microsoft, Rippling) who are committed to applying gen AI to enable more affordable, effective, and enjoyable care through technology. We have paying clients and a robust pipeline of clients that we plan to onboard this year.

The Role

We're seeking a driven Software Engineer with a passion for AI and machine learning to build a 0-to-1 product. As a founding engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing and refining our voice AI and fine-tuning models.

• Build and expand our data infrastructure and analytics dashboards, ensuring robust and scalable frameworks to support our AI-driven features and applications.
• Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge machine learning models, dedicating efforts to solving complex problems and enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of our AI applications.
• Remain at the forefront of AI and machine learning technology, integrating the latest advancements, research findings, and best practices into our development processes to maintain and amplify our competitive edge.
  
  

Requirements

• Deeply aligned with our core values: mission-driven, high agency, craftsmanship, and ship quickly.
• Experienced with a solid foundation in software engineering, with at least 3 years in the field working on modern tech stacks and high performance cultures.
• Proficient in key programming languages (Python, React, Javascript), coupled with a hands-on approach to Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI subfields.
• An excellent communicator who bridges the gap between technology and business, turning complex AI capabilities into tangible business value.
• Previous work experience at a Series A or B startup is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software development, or a related field.
• Work from our stellar San Francisco office. We like the company of each other and believe in an in-person office culture.
