The short version

We're a fast-growing RevOps and digital strategy agency, and we're hiring our first full-time team member. That's not a throwaway line. Until now the business has run on a founder plus a bench of excellent fractional specialists. You would be the first person we bring in-house to own client accounts end to end, keep delivery on the rails, and help us grow the accounts we already have. It's a genuine ground-floor seat with a clear path to leading the operations function as we scale.

If you're the kind of person who likes owning the whole thing (the client relationship, the roadmap, the renewal, the team pulling it off) and you get a little edgy when a project board doesn't match reality, keep reading.

About Oliphant Strategies

We help B2B and mission-driven companies orchestrate revenue engines that actually run. That means the strategy and the systems underneath it: CRM builds, marketing and sales automation, reporting that leadership trusts, and the day-to-day operating rhythm that keeps it all moving.

A few things that are true about us right now:

  • We're growing fast. We're on track to roughly quadruple revenue year over year, driven almost entirely by referrals and inbound. People send us work because the last engagement went well.

  • We work with scaling clients. Venture-backed SaaS, online marketplaces, media and entertainment brands, and mission-driven nonprofits. You'd carry a portfolio across a few of these at once.

  • We're platform agnostic across the major GTM tools. HubSpot and Salesforce are our home base, and we build on and around a wider stack of roughly ten platforms.

  • We're building, not just billing. We have a development arm alongside the services business, so there's real room to grow the kind of work we take on (and the kind of work you get to touch).

  • We run lean on purpose. A small full-time core plus a deep bench of specialist contractors. You'd be a cornerstone of that core.

We're remote, we're direct, and we don't do busywork. We care about doing valuable work for clients and treating each other like adults.

Oliphant Strategies Company Values

As our first full-time employee, you can have a seat in shaping our company values, but four core values will always remain:

  • Honesty. Transparency is expected, and it runs both ways. We tell clients the truth even when it's inconvenient, and we tell each other the truth even when it's uncomfortable. No spin, no burying a slipped deadline, no dressing up a status update to look better than it is.

  • Communication. You'll always know where you stand with us, and we expect the same in return. Communicate early and often, especially when something is off track. A problem flagged on Monday is a plan. The same problem flagged Friday afternoon is a fire.

  • Hard work. We're small, we're growing fast, and everyone here pulls their weight. This isn't about grinding for its own sake or logging hours to look busy. It's about owning what's yours, doing it well, and following through. We'd take a few people who genuinely care over a big team that's coasting, every time.

  • Celebrate wins. When something goes right, we say so. Big client win or small internal one, we call it out, give credit to whoever earned it, and take the beat to enjoy it. It's not fluff. It's how a small team stays motivated through a lot of hard work, and it's a lot more fun than only ever talking about what's broken.

Why this role exists

Right now the founder is running every account and sitting in every client meeting. That works until it doesn't, and we've hit "doesn't." It leaves no room to grow the business, and it means account health depends on one person's calendar.

We also learned the hard way that a portfolio of great contractors still needs someone whose actual job is delivery: matching capacity to commitments before a deadline is at risk, catching scope creep before it eats a margin, and making sure the project board reflects what's really happening. When that role is missing, small things quietly become big things.

This hire fixes both. You take ownership of a set of accounts, you own the delivery motion behind them, and you free up the founder to focus on growth. Over time, as the team grows, this seat grows into leading operations.

What you'll own

Client accounts, end to end. You'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounts. You'll run the meetings, set the roadmap, manage expectations, and be the person clients trust to make things happen.

Delivery accountability. You'll make sure work ships on time and at quality across a distributed team of specialists. That means proactive capacity planning, clear briefs, tight QA, and keeping the project management system (Asana) as a source of truth, not a lagging indicator.

Renewals and expansion. Net revenue retention is how we keep score. You'll own renewals, spot expansion and upsell opportunities, and turn a healthy account into a growing one. That includes scoping and helping land project work like custom development, which is a real and growing revenue stream for us.

Contractor coordination. You'll delegate to and QA the work of our fractional bench, keep everyone aligned, and step in to keep an account moving when something wobbles.

RevOps execution and strategy. You'll build and optimize the systems underneath our accounts: CRM architecture (HubSpot and Salesforce), automations and sequences, dashboards and reporting, customer lifecycle journeys, and data hygiene. You'll translate messy business goals into clean operational reality.

A real partnership with the founder. Early on you'll shadow to learn the accounts and build client trust, then progressively take them over. You'll always have a direct line for strategy and the hard calls.

Who you are

  • 3 to 5+ years in revenue operations, account management, customer success, or agency delivery/project management. Agency or multi-client experience is a big plus, because juggling several accounts at once is the job.

  • A serious project manager. You keep distributed and contract teams accountable and on schedule without needing to be chased yourself. You're the calm center when a deadline is tight.

  • A track record of owning relationships and outcomes. You've held the client relationship, driven renewals, and grown accounts, and you can point to it.

  • Hands-on with a modern GTM stack. You know your way around a CRM at the build level, not just the dashboard. HubSpot and/or Salesforce experience is required or strongly preferred. Comfort with marketing and sales automation (sequences, workflows, Zapier, n8n, and similar) is expected.

  • A proactive, human communicator. You surface problems early, you're clear and direct, and you're the person both clients and teammates are glad to have in the room.

  • Comfortable with fast and ambiguous. We're a growing small company. Playbooks and priorities move quickly.

  • An owner. You want a seat where your judgment matters and you can grow into leadership as the company scales.

Bonus points

  • HubSpot or Salesforce certifications, and experience scoping or leading CRM implementations

  • Experience carrying a net revenue retention or expansion number

  • You're AI-forward. We lean heavily on modern tooling (including Claude) to automate the boring parts, and we want someone who reaches for that instinct.

  • You've worked in a founder-led or early-stage environment and liked it

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary of $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.

  • Performance bonus with potential of 25%+, tied to account retention and expansion. (We're finalizing the exact structure, and it's designed to be genuinely lucrative, not a token. The better the accounts you own perform, the more you make.)

  • Health insurance.

  • Long-term upside as we scale. As the first full-time hire, there's a path to participate in the company's growth over time, which we'll walk through in detail at the offer stage.

  • Remote and flexible. We care about the work and the outcomes, not where you sit.

  • A clear growth path. This role is built to grow into leading operations and delivery as the team expands.
