Job Description:
- End-to-End Ownership: Command the full lifecycle of plant HR operations, from manpower planning and contract workforce recruitment (operators, technicians, engineers) to seamless onboarding, payroll coordination, and exit management.
- Vibrant Engagement : Cultivate a highly engaged work culture that champions Ohmium's inclusive work environment. Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and domestic inquiries with fairness and empathy.
- Empowered Leadership: Partner with the HR team building short-term and long-term strategies to develop and retain Ohmium India's top talent.
- Ironclad Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to all applicable labor laws (Factories Act, PF, ESI, CLRA, etc.). Maintain statutory records, manage government audits, and flawlessly oversee inspections.
- Smart Automation: Drive the digitization and automation of HR processes to eliminate friction and improve operational efficiency.
- Vendor & Wage Management: Ensure competitive, compliant wage structures and rigorously monitor contract labor compliance and vendor performance.
- Data-Driven Impact: Track critical HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, productivity, satisfaction) and deliver actionable monthly insights to operations leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
- Safety First: Partner fiercely with HSE teams to promote a relentless safety culture, driving employee awareness on workplace sustainability and safety compliance programs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business management, or a related field is required. Master’s degree in HR or Social Work is highly preferred.
- 10 to 12 years of generalist HR experience, with at least 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience specifically within manufacturing or engineering-based organizations. Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a strong plus.
- Deep, up-to-date expertise in Indian employment, statutory compliances and labor laws for the regions we operate in, is mandatory.
