Job Description:

• Electrical switchgear selection for single and aggregate of hydrogen electrolyzer plants ranging from 500kW to 1000 MW scale.

• Front end the design team and supporting the application, field service and NPI/NPD teams.

• Preparation of Load Lists

• Cable Sizing and Preparation of Cable Schedules / Cable routing and Cable support validation.

• Should be conversant with UL / IEEE / IEC and IS Standards.

• Designing and sizing of Transformers / Switchgear and Downstream Electrical equipment’s.

• Sizing of UPS / Battery Banks and Battery Chargers.

• Should be conversant with Hazardous area classifications and equipment classifications as per IEC / IEEE

• Power System design and validation using ETAP.

• Interdisciplinary co-ordination with Mechanical and Civil teams.

• Preparation of Interconnection schedules with Controllers / PLC / DCS.

• Understanding of PFD & PID for estimating electrical inputs and loads.

• Should be aware of communication protocols.

• Working with M-CAD and Civil Engineering teams for cable harness and layout planning.

• Planning and Designing process related electrical and communication wiring and troubleshooting.

• Reviewing P&ID and preparing the electrical wiring diagrams and SLDs.

• Should be aware of Installation feasibility study / Testing and Commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment’s.

Qualification :

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in designing the Power Distribution Panels, Power Cabinets with Power Electronic Converters. Understanding of Electromechanical Systems, Process plants, High power switchgear application, Electrical Installation of plants
