Job Description:
1. Perform laboratory-scale experiments to investigate the fundamental chemical and electrochemical properties of the materials currently being developed for PEM water electrolyzers
2. Define project scope and objectives; develop and implement comprehensive Design of Experiments (DOE) plans and timelines
3. Establish and refine methodologies to evaluate the performance of materials and components used in next generation electro-chemical products.
4. Demonstrate expertise in electrochemistry, including a solid grasp of electrochemical mechanisms, electrode architecture, prototype validation, ink formulation, reaction kinetics, and transport phenomena; proficient in techniques such as cyclic voltammetry (CV), LSV and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) etc.
5. Maintain a hands-on approach in the lab with safe handling of chemicals and gases, compile clear and concise research reports and presentations to communicate experimental insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely achievement of project milestones
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of technicians, engineers, and scientists to design and carry out experiments aimed at validating and enhancing sensor prototype performance.
Qualification:
B.E. (Chemical engineering) with 2+ years of required in the field energy materials & electrochemistry.
