Oversee delivery and implementation of battery energy storage systems and distributed energy resources in NY metro area. Collaborate with authorities such as ConEd, NYPA and FDNY.Ensure on time and on budget completion of projects. Negotiate with contractors, engineers, architects, governmental entities and utilities as required. Conduct field inspections for compliance with engineering specifications, safety protocols and codes. Approve division of responsibilities among contractors, vendors, utilities and company. Minimize disruption toquality of life for community. Identify, analyze and mitigate risks related to construction timelines, budgets, and regulatory compliance. Implement risk management strategies. Provide feedback on designs, equipment layout, site feasibility. Ensure change orders and invoices are reviewed for accuracy. Monitor and report project costs. Maintain project logs on contractors' activities. Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders. Employee may telecommute (work remotely) two days per week within commuting distance fromthe office. 2-3 days will be spent at the office, or on-site visits within approximately 25 miles of office in New York metro area. Degree should be in Construction Management, Civil engineering, Business administration or closely related field. Requires 2 yrs experience. Prior occupation as Project Manager or Construction Manager, but any prior job title is acceptable with required experience. Experience should include familiarity with: New York building and construction codes and permit requirements; and identifying and mitigating risks related to construction timelines, budgets and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD or project-specific engineering platforms. Required experience must include at least two years working with energy storage or electrical infrastructure. Send resume and cover letter to J.
