Job Summary

The Calibration Technician II, performs general calibrations throughout the site including temperature, pressure, air flow, and humidity in a GMP environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Read SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from technical documentation.

• Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs and so on.

• Ensure proper documentation practices during job activities.

• Assist others in calibration activities.

• Perform basic temperature, pressure, and humidity calibrations.

• Use CMS (Calibration Management System) to document calibrations.

• Conduct troubleshooting activities.

• Wear gowning, sterile garments, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by specific activities.

• Maintain accurate and complete records (for example: laboratory notebooks, quality records, sample receipts).

• Answer compliance and process questions from others.

• Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others.

• Attend inter-departmental meetings to discuss the coordination of calibration activities.

• Initiate deviations when they occur.

• Provide "off shift" support (such as providing night shift support if you normally work during day shift).

• Provide 24/7 "on-call" support to others.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in a regulated or cGMP environment

• Previous experience in calibration and maintenance work processes

Preferred Requirements

• High school diploma

• Technical certification and prior experience in electronics, calibration, or related area
