About the role:

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for Growth Emerging Markets planning and inventory management activities required to meet customer and market needs as measured by KPI’s for service level, backorder, forecast accuracy and DIOH objectives.

Responsibility covers a wide geographical area with a broad scope of divisional responsibility.

He/she will plan, monitor, and maintain data to ensure Planning system integrity. He/she will possess the skills and aptitude required to plan multiple product lines. The Supply chain Planner will demonstrate a high level of analytical and execution skills in addition to strong communication and collaboration capabilities.

You will be part of Growth Emerging Markets Supply Chain Planning team, work in a professional environment with a culture of continuous improvement and personal development.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and lead the monthly SI&OP process with partners (Local/Regional/Divisional business partners & Finance, Global and Regional Supply Chain Planners, Local Customer Care):
    • Offer and Demand Management: Coordinate Product Forecasting process including New Products and related transitions / Understand National Tender deliverables and integrate into forecast.
    • Integration & Reconciliation meeting: ensure correct actions to close gaps to financial plan.
    • Executive Review: escalate open actions to Divisional / regional leadership.
  • Maintain ERP & Advanced Planning System: data cleansing, manage statistical models, master data, profiles.
  • Determine and execute inventory strategy as well as annual projection (balance sheet/charges).
  • Manage KPI performance: Forecast accuracy, Forecast Bias, Backorder, Service Level & Inventory.
  • Overlook & Monitor inventory management for GEM 4 Distribution Centers, with our regional hub in Dubai and 3 Tier 2 DCs located in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and South Africa.

Daily Operations

  • Inventory management; replenishment, scarce supply & availability, shelf life management.
  • Analysis of demand month to date and take corrective actions.
  • Order fulfilment management with Customer Care and upstream Planning.
  • Weekly/monthly KPI reporting and ad hoc performance & Product Availability communication to the Business.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience within a supply chain / planning environment, medical devices experience is a plus.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • APICS certification – CPIM or CSCP or equivalent program is a plus.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and able to make efficient decisions.
  • Continuous improvement attitude.
  • Self-motivated independent worker and self-starter.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to successfully interact and influence at regional level with on hand stakeholders management experience.
  • Experience working with SAP, Rapid Response, or other planning systems.
  • PC skills utilizing such software programs as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Customer centric mindset.
  • Willing to accept a 24-month fixed-term employment contract.
