Purpose Statement:
To develop and maintain a feasible plan for hiring, training and management of personnel and to ensure quality issues, process and material flows are operated efficiently. Through his or her management style, the Supervisor actively demonstrates and propagates the core values of BSC. He or she is a strong team player and demonstrates this through the integration of key goals with appropriate other functions (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, R&D, HR etc.).
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivery of all key performance metrics on a particular shift/project, with a particular focus on "Core 5" and "9 panel" metrics.
- Planning - including developing /maintaining a viable plan incorporating hiring, training, capacity-modelling, efficiency/yield assumptions, ramp-rate, learning-curve etc.
- Liaising with warehousing, quality assurance, bulk-packaging and sterilization areas to ensure prompt shipment of product.
- Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.
- Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
- Interacting and liaising with the other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders.
- Managing process and material flows, space management, and working with the Engineering group to maximize utilization of space designated for specific operations area.
- Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, Build Plan review Back Order review, Travel planning etc.
- Works with EHS to identify significant environmental impacts of BSIL operations and to establish goals and targets around significant environmental impacts.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of production operators to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities are carried out in compliance with established process specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and performance oversight to operators to drive productivity and continuous improvement.
- Support production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and implement improvement initiatives.
- Drive problem-solving activities and support operational excellence within the PSPI area.
