One in two kids has a treatable mental health condition, and yet most kids never get care. There are few places to turn for early, preventative, help. The result is a worsening epidemic in teen mental health that affects virtually every family. In just the last year, 85% of parents worried about anxiety or depression negatively impacting the lives of their teen; 42% of teens reported feeling sad or hopeless, and 10% of teens attempted suicide. Our mission is to create a new teen mental health care system, purpose built for access. We are creating a new system of care that offers help to teens and families early in their mental health journey, at the moment they first need it and before issues escalate. Marble distributes care in partnership with school counselors – who see the mental health crisis everyday in their offices – helping kids who need more help than they can get at school. And we makes care affordable for families by accepting all major insurances including commercial and Medicaid plans.
