Education: M.Pharm/Pharm D or Any other Medical Degree
Experience: 1+ years
Position Requirements:
- Experience with pharmaceutical/medical writing experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Experience writing for the digital environment is preferred.
- Ability to analyse complex clinical data and interpret it while maintaining a clinical tone.
- Experience in medical literature retrieval and evaluation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Independent and innovative self-starter.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Should be familiar with use of databases like Pubmed, Ovid, Medical conference sites.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools will be an added advantage.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To write clinical summaries/news for patients and physician audience, bringing them the latest updates from various sources like clinical research publications/professional medical practice/regulatory authority/medical conferences.
- Read and select scientific papers from major medical journals in various specialties to identify studies for coverage of interest to a clinical audience.
- Write 1-2 news articles per day based on selected studies and new research presented at medical conferences.
- Copy must be accurate, clean, well-organized, and adhere to Medscape/WebMD technical specifications.
- Project and Workload Management: Must be able to meet editorial deadlines and maintain highest quality.
- Must be able to interact effectively with internal editorial teams to ensure quality and smooth progression of projects.
- Writing samples/portfolio (either accessible via online site or hard copy) will be an added advantage.
