Role Overview
The SDET Engineer develops and maintains test automation for Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Experience Cloud, Revenue Cloud) and integrations (Conga, DocuSign, Avalara, ERP systems). Designs test cases, executes and maintains test suites throughout the project lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (Page Object Model, data-driven) for UI (Lightning/Visualforce), API (REST/SOAP), and data integrations using Selenium WebDriver (Python/Java)
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Copado) for continuous testing, parallel execution, and regression testing.
- Analyze requirements and user stories to create automation test cases and data setups for Salesforce features and workflows.
- Good to have - Implement automated test scripts covering Salesforce customizations, configurations (Flows, validation/assignment rules), and external integrations.
- Quality Engineering & Testing
- Design test cases, execute functional, regression test cases and smoke test cases.
- Log/track defects from test execution, automation runs with reproduction steps, severity assessment, and collaborate with developers/admins for fixes.
- Generate test reports, coverage metrics, and quality dashboards for sprint reviews and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in QA/automation engineering, including 2+ years building test frameworks for Salesforce or similar CRMs.
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce/Similar data models and configurations (Flows, Process Builder, Lightning pages, validation/workflow rules).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Python/Java/JavaScript) for Salesforce testing scenarios.
- Proficiency in Python/Java for test scripting, plus Git version control. Experience with CI/CD integration
- Hands on with Agile processes (standups, sprints, triage).
- Strong analytical skills for test cases, edge cases, and data issues.
- Good communication skills for working with distributed teams (devs, admins, architects, stakeholders).
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Cloud Consultant (Sales/Service/Experience/CPQ).
- Experience with test data tools (Data Loader) etc
