Senior Manager, Global Facilities

The Senior Manager, Global Facilities is responsible for the efficient, cost effective, and reliable operation of Life Fitness / Hammer Strength facilities worldwide, supporting manufacturing plants, distribution centers, product development and engineering sites, and corporate offices.

This role leads global facility operations including maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, space planning, security, mailroom and shipping/receiving services, and vendor management. In partnership with regional and functional leaders, this position ensures facilities are safe, operationally effective, financially disciplined, and aligned with company standards.

This position is based in Rosemont, IL and requires domestic and international travel (up to 40%).

As a Senior Manager, Global Facilities, you will:

• Provide leadership and oversight for global facilities operations across office, manufacturing, and distribution locations.
• Directly manage facilities, mailroom, security, and shipping/receiving staff in Rosemont and Schaumburg, IL, with dotted line coordination to plant facilities leaders.
• Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance, repairs, building safety systems, janitorial services, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Plan and execute renovation, expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
• Manage contractor selection, vendor performance, and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manage the global real estate portfolio including lease negotiations, renewals, and critical date tracking.
• Oversee mailroom and non-manufacturing shipping/receiving operations and carrier relationships.
• Oversee building safety systems and processes such as global physical security and access control, emergency egress and exits, fire prevention and protection, and electrical safety.
• Partner with Safety to assist with periodic safety audits, and ensure facilities have current and compliant Emergency Response Plans.
• Partner with Sourcing to manage and standardize the office supply program.
• Support space planning and workplace moves in coordination with site leaders and IT.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, track spend and identify cost efficiencies.

What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our Senior Manager, Global Facilities:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of facilities, real estate, or corporate services leadership experience in a multi site environment.
• Experience managing capital projects and lease administration.
• Strong understanding of building systems, preventive maintenance, and facility compliance requirements.
• Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Proficiency in facilities systems and Microsoft Office, including strong Excel capability.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills with ability to influence cross functionally.

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $149,400 - $182,500 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s annual Manager Incentive Plan to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of bonus varies based on company and individual performance goals and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
