About the Job:

We are looking for a talented visual designer with in-house design team experience. You have crafted imaginative advertising campaigns, defined design systems and collaborated with talented content owners. Responsibilities:

  • Support promotional campaign development – Collaborate with senior designers and marketers to execute components of integrated campaigns, contributing creative assets that align with brand and messaging goals.

  • Contribute to marketing web content – Assist in implementing web design layouts based on guidance from senior designers, ensuring visual consistency and usability.

  • Produce creative assets – Deliver visually engaging materials (e.g., digital images, marketing collateral) under direction, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Support visual design for technical content – Assist in creating visuals for technical topics, guided by senior team members and creative briefs.

  • Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects – Handle multiple design tasks within set timelines, escalating risks or delays to project leads as needed.

  • Coordinate with marketing stakeholders – Work with cross-functional teams to align creative deliverables with campaign requirements and timelines, under the direction of senior designers.
  • Collaborate with the design team – Share work-in-progress for feedback and incorporate suggestions to refine deliverables and contribute to a cohesive visual brand.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working as part of design teams at creative agencies or in-house.

  • Strong illustrative skills.
  • Strong portfolio with examples of campaigns, branding, design systems and web asset creation.

  • Master level Figma skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups and defend your design decisions.
  • Understand business goals, product roadmaps and user insights to translate into clear design priorities for yourself.
  • Ability to uphold responsiveness and collaboration in a remote environment. You are an organized self starter with strong communication skills. Being part of a distributed team requires proactive communication and sometimes even oversharing.

  • Prior experience working in the technology industry is a plus. You enjoy learning about new technologies and are able to collaborate with Product Marketers as well as Product Managers and Engineers.

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level xx:

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $108,800 - $149,600
  • Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $97,900 - $134,640
  • Zone 3: All other US locations - $92,500 - $127,160

LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
