Janux Therapeutics is seeking an HR & Talent Coordinator to support a wide range of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition activities. This role is at the center of the employee experience, helping create a seamless journey from candidate interviews through onboarding and beyond.

We are looking for a highly organized, service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced biotech environment and is eager to learn all aspects of Human Resources. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, managing details, and supporting employees and candidates with professionalism and care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional seeking broad exposure across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee experience, HR operations, benefits, and people programs. The role reports to the Head of Human Resources and works closely with employees, hiring managers, executive assistants, and external partners across the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Talent Acquisition Support

  • Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple functions and levels, partnering closely with hiring teams and executive assistants to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Prepare interview schedules, candidate briefing materials, candidate packets, and confidentiality agreements (CDAs)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates during onsite interviews, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
  • Greet, escort, and support candidates throughout onsite interview days
  • Manage interview logistics including conference room reservations, agendas, catering, and virtual meeting coordination
  • Human Resources Operations

  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling and onboarding logistics
  • Maintain employee records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Enter and audit employee data within HR systems
  • Assist employees by answering basic HR and benefits questions or directing them to appropriate resources
  • Support employee recognition and employee engagement initiatives
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and audits from HR systems
  • Process state unemployment claims, and other HR administrative requests
  • Assist with compliance-related reporting, documentation, and audits
  • HR Programs and Employee Experience

  • Assist with employee events, All-Hands meetings, onboarding programs, and employee experience initiatives
  • Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and internal resources
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance HR processes and employee experience
  • Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as the HR function evolves and grows

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR, TA, people operations, or similar role with hands-on ownership across multiple HR and TA functions
  • Experience scheduling a high volume of candidate and roles within an ATS (Lever preferred)
  • Experience working in an HRIS (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate information.
  • Comfortable in an on-site environment and face-to-face candidate and employee interaction
  • Experience supporting HR or recruiting functions within biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or other fast-growing organizations
  • Familiarity with employee onboarding, benefits administration, HR operations, or recruiting coordination

95000 - 105000 USD a year

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $95,000 - $105,000, we offer stock options, restricted stock units, a stock purchase plan (ESPP) and a target bonus. Janux also provides a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their families, which includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental disability insurance. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, internal equity, and work location.
