The Enterprise Applications Administrator plays a key role in supporting and optimizing key business and scientific applications at Janux Therapeutics. This individual will serve as a technical resource for administering enterprise platforms, managing user environments, and ensuring reliable system performance that support both corporate and scientific operations. This role requires experience managing Microsoft Office365, Azure, and both on-premise and cloud-based systems. Superior troubleshooting skills will be required for issues related to deployment, updates, and ongoing use of business-critical software. Experience in biotech or lab-based environments is highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and support enterprise systems and applications, including Microsoft 365, Azure (Entra ID), and other SaaS platforms.
  • Manage user accounts, access, and permissions across systems, ensuring appropriate security and compliance.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices) using endpoint management tools.
  • Provide advanced Tier 2/3 support for complex IT issues related to systems, applications, and integrations.
  • Support and maintain collaboration tools such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Partner with business teams (including scientific and Executive-level staff) to support and optimize specialized applications and workflows.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and system access.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.
  • Support implementation and administration of SaaS tools, including configuration, upgrades, and user training.
  • Contribute to IT security initiatives, including access controls, patching, and basic security best practices.
  • Participate in software validation efforts as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for systems, applications, configurations, and IT standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist with IT projects, including system enhancements, tool implementations, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to enforce policies and maintain a consistent IT environment.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or application administration roles.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Purview) and Azure environments.
  • Experience with endpoint/device management tools (e.g., Intune or equivalent).
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or lab-based environments is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and priorities.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience with command line tools such as PowerShell is highly desirable
  • Exposure to coding and query languages (e.g.,Python, R, SQL) is a plus, particularly for streamlining workflows and system administration tasks.
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: Snowflake, Box, NetSuite, Prendio, Benchling, DocuSign.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA) are a plus.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds as needed.

95000 - 120000 USD a year

In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $95,000 - $120,000 we offer stock options, restricted stock units, a stock purchase plan (ESPP) and a target bonus. Janux also provides a comprehensive benefits package for our employees and their families, which includes medical, dental, vision, and supplemental disability insurance.

Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and internal equity.
