In this pivotal leadership role, the Senior Director, Global Brand and US Marketing Lead will spearhead overall brand strategy, execution, and launch preparation to support the successful commercialization of one of Intellia’s gene editing therapies currently in late-stage clinical development. Duties/Responsibilities
Global Brand Leadership:
Serve as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, contributing broadly to Intellia’s commercialization success.
Represent the commercial function on the Program Leadership Team, the highest governance body accountable for all cross-functional aspects of the program, including clinical development activities.
Lead the development of the brand plan, global launch strategy, and global commercialization plan for the assigned brand in collaboration with key functions.
Deliver actionable recommendations to the leadership team through analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
US Marketing Leadership:
Oversee the brand team, including colleagues executing all aspects of brand marketing to various stakeholders such as healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients.
Lead the development of market development strategies in coordination with external agencies and cross-functional partners.
Lead the development of all branding efforts, including naming and creative campaigns.
Collaborate closely with the Commercial Operations team to generate insights that inform launch strategy and planning.
Collaborate across multiple functions, including Commercial Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and IT.
Oversee external vendors and consultants supporting the brand.
Manage the annual budget for the assigned brand.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Will manage 2–3 direct reports starting in 2027.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Requirements
Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to translate science into commercial strategies and compelling marketing narratives.
Proven ability to foster productive relationships with external thought leaders and medical societies.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior management and establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Exceptional skills in proactivity, planning, prioritization, objective setting, meeting management, and plan execution.
Organized and logical, with a high degree of flexibility to change direction when needed.
A confident self-starter who can work independently and creatively, while also being a team player.
Must have demonstrated success in bringing novel and successful approaches that bring innovative products to patients.
Education / Certifications
BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
Experience
Deep experience (10+ years) in the pharmaceutical industry, including launching first-in-class products in rare diseases and highly competitive areas.
Breadth of commercialization experience is desired, including a combination of global and US marketing.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing, developing, and motivating high-performing teams, including direct reports and cross-functional colleagues, to deliver business objectives.
Launch readiness experience, including development and execution of integrated global and US plans across brand, medical, market access, and field-facing teams.
A successful history of coordinating large projects with multiple stakeholders that have yielded tangible, high-quality results.

The base salary for this position is expected to range between $275,134.00 - $336,274.00 USD per year.The salary offered is determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant education and training, overall related experience, specialized, rare or in-demand skill sets, internal comparators and other business needs. Upon joining Intellia, your salary will be reviewed periodically and additional factors such as time in role and performance will be considered. Intellia may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.
Additional compensation includes a performance-based annual cash bonus, a new hire equity grant, and eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards the value of which are determined annually at the Company’s discretion.
