How You Will Achieve More:
The Director of ATTR Commercial Insights, Analytics and Forecasting will play a key role in the successful commercialization of Intellia’s ATTR one-time CRISPR based therapy. As a member of the Commercial Operations / Insights, Analytics & Forecasting team, this role will be responsible for the generation and execution of the ATTR insights, analytics and forecasting efforts to support the broader ATTR Global Commercial Planning initiative (GCP).
By partnering closely with commercial operations, sales, market access, supply, finance, marketing and ATTR program team they will be tasked with supporting the assessment of the commercial opportunity for Intellia’s ATTR pipeline asset, which involves the development and execution of the insights generation plan, development and refinement of forecast models and the execution of the necessary commercial analytics deliverables in support of the pre-launch ATTR go to market approach, and subsequently launch readiness and success.
The Director of ATTR Insights, Analytics and Forecasting will need to work cross-functionally, navigate a matrix environment comprised of internal and external stakeholders and adapt as the as the organization progresses towards commercialization. Additionally, this role will continue to evolve as Intellia’s commercial organization matures and will be expected to pivot across the commercial portfolio to support cross-functional team needs.
Responsibilities:
Act as key a stakeholder for the ATTR cross-functional program team, with collaboration and thought partnership across the commercial organization ensuring a single source of truth to drive strategic planning decisions
Represent and act as the day-to-day interface for Commercial Insights, Analytics and Forecasting with the cross function ATTR program team while ensuring activate collaboration across the entire Commercial Operations function
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive insights generation plan to support the ATTR Global Commercial Planning (GCP) efforts using the appropriate methodology and leveraging established best practices and capabilities
Partner to support the development of comprehensive country-level business case assessments to strategically evaluate and prioritize geographic expansion opportunities
Collaborate and leverage established and growing Commercial I&A / forecasting capabilities and best practices
Design and execute primary market research that addresses key business questions and provides deep insight into the ATTR market opportunity and launch planning
Develop and refine ATTR commercial forecast models, including market-based models to forecast pipeline uptake and project market evolution of competitive products to support strategic/tactical business decisions
Partner with ATTR program team to support scenario planning by modeling the impact of internal and external factors - continually maintain and refine ATTR forecast models with latest information, assumptions and data with clear documentation
Partner with the supply chain team to support ATTR SOP processes for manufacturing and inventory management
Execute the integration of ATTR insights and analysis by leveraging predictive advanced analytical models and techniques from a variety of primary and secondary data sources to provide actionable insights, opportunities, risks and strategic assessments
Extract, mine and synthesize secondary data analysis to understand the ATTR patient/customer journeys, therapy utilization and market landscape to guide planning decisions
Monitor and communicate in a timely manner ATTR market, environmental and competitive activity to provide proactive analysis on the potential impact and implications
Partner with Sales and operations to support the optimization of customer segmentation, targeting, alignment, call planning and resource allocation
Partner with technology and operational teams to ensure systems are capturing and processing the necessary data to facilitate proper analytics
Support the Commercial planning and budgeting process by establishing timely and thoughtful input into the overall Commercial I & A and Forecasting tactical and budget plan
Be active member of the Commercial Insights, Analytics and Forecasting team with the ability to pivot and support across the commercial portfolio as the organization matures towards its first commercial product launch
About You:

Proven ability to generate insights, interpret data, develop KPIs and leverage advanced predictive analytical models to influencing across the commercial organization, and proactively communicating key insights and recommendations from an array of data points
Strong presentation skills with ability to distil and summarize information for presentation to Senior Leadership.
Operates in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work positively with others.
Exceptional skills in proactivity, planning, and project/meeting management.
Organized and logical, with a high degree of flexibility to change direction when needed.
BA/BS in a quantitative field required.
7-10 years of life science industry or relevant consulting experience
At least 5-7 years of direct experience in forecasting and insights generation
Experience in cell/gene therapy, rare disease and/or cardiovascular
Commercial launch experience
Proven track record of successfully partnering cross functionally within a matrix environment
Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical primary and secondary data sources, including claims data
In-depth understanding and experience building advanced analytical techniques to assess strategic business issues/opportunities with demonstrated results that lead to successful product launches.
Experience in data visualization and analytics solutions deployment in patient advanced analytics & AI scope
