About the company
HubFlow is a well-capitalized early-stage startup transforming the trucking industry by automating freight appointment scheduling. Our agentic AI has already replaced large operations teams and created 5% additional margin per load for our customers.
In May 2025, we raised a $2.5M pre-seed round led by Bling Capital, with participation from notable industry angels. We have live 6-figure contracts with compelling customer ROI, an ambitious roadmap, and a clear path to $2M ARR by the end of 2026.

About the role: This role is our first nontechnical hire. We are seeking a sales “player-coach” who will work closely with our cofounder Nick to continue to close large deals while building out a sales playbook and a small team of Account Executives. This is a commissioned role with opportunity for meaningful equity ownership.
Key responsibilities
Own the full sales lifecycle (prospecting → deal closing) for large enterprise contracts
Conduct customer discovery, demo calls, and ROI analysis to support large trucking companies in their purchasing decisions
Upgrade existing playbooks and materials to accelerate sales cycles from 3-4 months to <2 months
Track deal activity and outbound prospecting in our CRM. Implement best practices for CRM data capture + automation
Post-sale, ensure smooth handoff to our Product Deployment team to support successful onboardings
Help hire, train, and develop a small sales team (1-3 people in the first 12 months)
Qualifications

About the team: You should expect ambitious, brilliant, and interesting coworkers who still like to have fun. We have plenty of experience in logistics, product, and applied AI.
Nick started his logistics career 12 years ago moving containers to Iraq, and most recently was a Senior Product Manager at Uber Freight, where his team built many of the core brokerage automation products.
Scott has been head of engineering at a startup, taking it from $0 → $3M in revenue and hiring a team of 10 engineers. He also got an AI/ML-focused PhD in 3.5 years and holds multiple patents and peer-reviewed publications related to AI modeling.
