What is special about this role?
As the Product Manager for Helix patient experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, growth, and success of the end-to-end product for onboarding patients to Helix. You’ll apply your expertise in product management, understanding of the healthcare industry, and passion for improving the end patient care. Focus will be on developing and growing the vision for this product in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, engineering, delivery, research admin, regulatory, and support) to ship product enhancements that meet user needs and business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Bring clarity and direction within your team, enabling them to consistently and effectively provide value to users.
  • Prioritize and make strategic choices based on data insights, business goals, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Understand Helix’s strategic and competitive position, and deliver products that align with our mission while being recognized as an industry-leading solution.
  • Own and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with company goals and timelines.
  • Prioritize and create requirements for product features and improvements based on user feedback, market analysis, and business objectives.
  • Define and analyze metrics that gauge the success of products, identify and monitor key performance indicators, and drive decision-making through user insights and quantitative analysis.
  • Lead and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure a steady flow and success of the team’s work, including delivery of high-quality product features and enhancements.
About you:
  • 5+ years of product management experience in highly cross-functional and/or customer-centric roles.
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and regulatory landscape.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and a “get stuff done” attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to say no while making it seem like an opportunity.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and improving user experiences for complex digital products.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with strong collaboration and leadership skills.
  • Build consensus and listen well, but can also drive hard decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Successful working with distributed teams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile.

Pluses:
  • Familiarity with regulated organizations, including HIPAA, CLIA/CAP, CCPA/CPRA
  • Experience with electronic healthcare records, interoperability, and the US healthcare domain
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams at leading health systems

Expected Pay For This Role:
There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary 2) Annual Bonus 3) Equity
  • Expected Helix Base: $128,000 - $171,500
  • Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 10% of your annual salary
  • Equity: We offer generous equity at Helix. If you receive a Helix offer your recruiter will book dedicated time with you to educate you on our equity model.

What To Expect During Your First 90 days:
  • First 30 days: you’ll spend time learning the Helix way, completing training and onboarding for your roles, and getting introduced to your team and relevant stakeholders. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of our customers, our products, the impact we make in the lives of our communities, and how to thrive at Helix through participation in Helix U.
  • Day 30 - 60: you’ll spend time contributing to projects, deeply familiarizing yourself with team and company processes, and developing a deeper understanding of Helix’s products, services and capabilities.
  • Day 60 - 90: you’ll build your OKRs with your manager, start to take ownership of projects and initiatives on your team, and begin to demonstrate your impact on the Helix mission.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $128,000 – $171,500 per year.
