About Helix

At Helix, our mission is to help everyone improve their lives through DNA. We're transforming healthcare by making genomics a standard of care and partnering with health systems and life science companies to accelerate the integration of genomic data into clinical practice.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Marketing Specialist to support the execution of our marketing strategy across all business lines. You will be a central resource for the team, assisting with content creation, leading the regulatory review process (MLR), and providing critical support for major events like the Helix Partner Summit and key industry conferences. This is an ideal role for someone who loves to write, thrives on organization, and is eager to learn the inner workings of a high-growth health-tech company.

Key Responsibilities

Content Support & Editorial Execution

  • Collateral Creation: Support Product and Brand Marketing leads in developing sales sheets, slide decks, and digital assets, ensuring they meet Helix’s high standards for design and messaging.
  • Copyediting & Blogging: Support in content development for the Helix blog and social media channels; you will take drafts from subject matter experts and refine them for clarity, tone, and engagement.
  • Asset Management: Maintain the central marketing asset library, ensuring the most up-to-date versions of all collateral are easily accessible to the Sales and Business Development teams.

Compliance & MLR Coordination

  • Process Management: Own the end-to-end Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process. You will be responsible for submitting materials, tracking feedback, and ensuring all required edits are implemented before final production.
  • Claims Documentation: Maintain the master "claims-map" and reference library, ensuring every piece of marketing collateral is properly cited and backed by the necessary clinical or legal evidence.

Events & Conference Logistics

  • Helix Partner Summit: Provide "boots-on-the-ground" support for our flagship annual event, managing everything from registration workflows to on-site branding and attendee communications.
  • Industry Presence: Coordinate Helix’s presence at medical and research conferences (e.g., ASCO, ASHG, AMP) throughout the year, including booth logistics, shipping, and lead-retrieval coordination.
  • Webinar Support: Assist in the production of webinars and virtual events, managing the technical setup and follow-up email journeys.

Team Operations

  • Project Tracking: Maintain the marketing team’s project management board (JIRA) ensuring deadlines are visible and administrative bottlenecks are identified early.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external printers, swag vendors, and agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Exceptional Writing: Strong writing and proofreading skills with an eagle eye for detail, you catch the typos that everyone else misses.
  • Organizational Ninja: You are someone who finds deep satisfaction in a well-organized spreadsheet or project board; you can manage multiple moving parts without breaking a sweat.
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, from R&D scientists to legal counsel and external vendors.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with (or a hunger to learn) tools like HubSpot, Canva, project management software, and the Microsoft Office/Google Workspace suites.
  • AI Proficiency: Practical experience using AI tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Note to Applicants: At Helix, we value drive and a growth mindset. If you are early in your career but have a "clear ability to learn quickly, adapt, and grow," please apply. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the genomics industry from the ground up.
