POSITION OVERVIEW
Harbor Health is seeking a motivated Clinical Recruiter (must be based in Texas) to lead full-cycle recruiting for clinical roles across our Texas markets, including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and El Paso. In this role, you will partner directly with clinic leadership and hiring managers to source, screen, and hire top clinical talent, including Physicians, APPs, RNs, LVNs, and other frontline care roles, supporting Harbor Health's mission of delivering integrated, member-centered care through our payvider model. You will manage a high-volume requisition load, build strong candidate pipelines, and help ensure a smooth, positive experience for every clinical candidate from first contact through onboarding.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Full-Cycle Clinical Recruiting
Own the end-to-end recruiting process for clinical (Advanced Practice Provider and Physician) requisitions, from intake through offer, across multiple Texas markets.
Source and build robust candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill clinical roles using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and Harbor Health's ATS (UKG).
Screen and assess candidates for clinical qualifications, licensure/certification status, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with clinic leadership and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and timely process for candidates.
Hiring Manager & Clinic Partnership
Partner closely with clinical leaders, clinic directors and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and market conditions in each Texas market.
Provide regular pipeline updates, market insights, and recommendations to help hiring managers make informed, timely decisions.
Act as a trusted advisor on clinical hiring strategy, licensure timelines, and competitive offer positioning.
Candidate Experience & Offer Management
Deliver a warm, professional, and responsive candidate experience at every stage of the process.
Extend and negotiate offers in partnership with hiring managers and HR, ensuring compliance with Harbor Health's compensation guidelines.
Coordinate pre-boarding requirements for clinical hires, including credentialing and medical clearance steps, in partnership with HR and Compliance.
Process & Reporting
Maintain accurate, up-to-date requisition and candidate data in UKG.
Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, source of hire) and share progress with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve clinical recruiting workflows, templates, and sourcing strategies.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with Advanced Practice Providers or Physicians.
Familiarity with clinical licensure, credentialing, and certification requirements (RN, LVN, MD/DO, APP, or similar)
Experience managing a high-volume requisition load across multiple locations or markets.
Hands-on experience with an ATS/HRIS platform; familiarity with UKG preferred.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with clinical leaders and hiring managers.
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
