About The Role
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the Hamsa blockchain product meets all quality standards prior to launch. This role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge, highly scalable software systems that support trillions of dollars in transactions annually. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across multiple regions to deliver commercial-grade products.

About The Role
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the Hamsa blockchain product meets all quality standards prior to launch. This role involves contributing to the development of cutting-edge, highly scalable software systems that support trillions of dollars in transactions annually. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across multiple regions to deliver commercial-grade products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely, clear, and actionable feedback.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities while developing detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases for all product components, including web interfaces, APIs, databases, and server-side logic, to ensure thorough coverage and on-time delivery.
- Validate frontend functionality and user workflows, develop and execute automated tests for frontend and backend systems, and perform API and integration testing to ensure data integrity, authentication, and seamless interaction across services and external systems.
- Execute performance and stress testing for our UCL platform. Validate that the implementation meets the expected SLA standards.
- Identify, document, track, and clearly communicate bugs to ensure accurate reporting, efficient collaboration, and timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and support production issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement fixes, and prevent recurrence.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years hands on experience in both manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing
- Hands-on experience in test automation using popular frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and data flows
- Good understanding of SQL, including writing complex queries, validating data, and performing database testing.
- Solid understanding of Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Javascript or Python, with the ability to write and maintain test code
- Experience testing web applications and microservices, with knowledge of cloud platforms, containerized environments (Docker), AI systems, and messaging middleware like MQ and Kafka.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly driven and proactive, able to take initiative and solve problems independently with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and skilled at working within a diverse, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with security testing is a plus.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
