Description

The QA Leader will own the end-to-end quality strategy, processes, and tooling across backend services, blockchain modules, and frontend applications. They will work together with a distributed QA team (US, Brazil, Poland, and China) to develop automated testing pipelines, and enforce enterprise-grade standards for security, performance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company-wide QA strategy, covering functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Establish and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Integrate QA with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Kubernetes).
• Design test plans and acceptance criteria for major programs.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, AI, and Blockchain teams to ensure consistent test coverage across environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production).
• Implement performance, failover, and security testing.
• Mentor junior engineers, and align priorities with Hamsa’s release cycles.
• Track and report quality metrics (defect rates, automation coverage, release confidence).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent working experience.
• 7+ years in software quality assurance, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, Cypress, Postman/Newman, Selenium, Playwright).
• Solid knowledge of API testing, microservices, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
• Proven experience defining and managing QA processes and test strategies in complex, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills; able to coordinate across global engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus points if you have...)

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or high-security software environments.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, or Go for test automation scripting.
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) language.

• The expected salary for this position is between $140,000.00 and $175,000.00, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
