FERMÀT Commerce is experiencing rapid growth as more DTC brands recognize the power of our platform. A critical driver of this expansion is our Referral Partnerships program, which consistently delivers high-quality leads to our New Business team. We're seeking a Partnerships Manager to lead and significantly scale this vital channel, ensuring it remains a top contributor to our sales pipeline.

As the the first Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating and expanding a high-impact ecosystem of partners. This includes a diverse network of consultants, agencies, and industry influencers who align with Fermat Commerce's mission and can refer qualified opportunities. You'll play a key role in driving strategic growth by recruiting new partners, deepening existing relationships, and optimizing engagement strategies to maximize lead generation.

You will also work closely with our Business Development team, acting as a crucial liaison between our managed partners and the sales leads they generate. Your efforts will contribute to a high-performance culture across both teams. This role demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, exceptional relationship-building skills, operational discipline, and strong sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Recruitment & Channel Expansion: Proactively identify, engage, and onboard new referral partners who are a strong fit for Fermat Commerce's growth objectives and our target DTC brand audience.

  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture trust-based, long-term relationships with our existing partners, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver high-quality introductions to potential FERMÀT Commerce clients.

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Contribution: Strategically drive net-new qualified opportunities through partner channels by developing creative, mutually beneficial strategies to increase partner engagement and output.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with the New Business team to ensure a smooth handover of leads and active support throughout the entire sales cycle, from introduction to close.

  • Event & Community Engagement: Plan and support partner-focused events, webinars, and engagement programs to build a strong community around Fermat Commerce and increase referral momentum.

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize Salesforce and Sales Navigator to accurately forecast performance, track lead flow, and continuously improve partner performance through robust reporting and insights.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine and optimize internal processes related to partner onboarding, enablement, communication, and overall program efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of combined experience in sales and client-facing roles, preferably within high-growth SaaS or MarTech companies serving the DTC or e-commerce space.

  • Demonstrated success in building, managing, and scaling referral or partner programs that have delivered tangible pipeline results.

  • Experience engaging with consultants, agencies, and affiliate ecosystems, ideally within B2B tech or marketing platforms focused on direct-to-consumer brands.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute impactful partner-focused campaigns and events to increase engagement and loyalty.

  • Skilled at managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

  • Proficiency with Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for tracking, forecasting, and reporting on partner performance.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, highly coachable, exceptionally organized, and strongly self-motivated.

  • Leadership experience or a strong mentorship mindset is a significant plus.
