The Opportunity

As a Content Marketing Program Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality brand and marketing content across Extreme Networks. This role sits at the intersection of content execution and program management, helping ensure content requests are well-scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time and on brand.

This is a hands-on role for an early- to mid-career content marketer who enjoys both writing and editing content and keeping projects moving on deadline. You will work closely with colleagues in Brand Marketing (content and creative) to support cross-functional marketing partners, using and improving established workflows, processes, and RACIs. You’ll also leverage generative and agentic AI tools to improve content efficiency, ensure consistency, and accelerate delivery—without sacrificing quality.

What You’ll Do

Content Marketing Program Management

  • Support intake and triage of Brand Marketing content requests, helping ensure briefs are complete, timelines are realistic, and work is ready to move forward.
  • Coordinate content projects across Brand, Creative, Campaigns, Product Marketing, Digital, Communications, Field, and Events.
  • Track schedules and workbacks for assigned initiatives; flag risks, dependencies, or scope changes early.
  • Facilitate collaboration among writers, designers, agencies, and stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Help maintain and evolve content workflows, templates, and documentation to improve clarity, consistency, and speed.

AI-Powered Content Marketing & Editorial Execution

  • Write, edit, and optimize marketing content across channels, including web pages, landing pages, emails, blogs, campaign assets, and event content.
  • Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring content aligns with business priorities, audience needs, and brand standards.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot and other generative and agentic AI tools for content ideation, creation, curation, iteration, and optimization.
  • Apply strong editorial judgment and context synthesis as a human-in-the-loop.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and agencies to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Uphold brand voice, tone, and editorial style standards, ensuring all content is accurate, consistent, and optimized to meet both internal business objectives and external audience needs.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Support agency collaboration on assigned projects, including reviews, feedback consolidation, and deadline tracking.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback to help inform content updates and refinements.
  • Contribute ideas for improving how content is planned and delivered, including thoughtful use of AI tools within established guardrails.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in content marketing, integrated marketing, or a related role (B2B technology preferred).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience producing customer-facing marketing content, preferable in the B2B enterprise technology space.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects and working within defined workflows and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with workflow or ticketing tools (Monday.com, Asana, Jira, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience using generative and agentic AI tools (Microsoft Copilot preferred) to assist with content creation.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional partners and creative teams.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and a desire to grow within a structured content organization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with external agencies or freelancers.
  • Exposure to content calendars, brand guidelines, or editorial review processes.
  • Familiarity with enterprise or B2B technology marketing.

This role is focused on strong execution, program coordination and management, and editorial quality, with room to grow responsibility over time.
