Extreme is looking to elevate its partner program and is creating a new role to lead the recruitment strategy. The new role will lead the partner recruitment team to create the strategy and engage with potential Extreme partners. Conducting detailed market analyses, including the competitive partner landscape, will be another key responsibility. This leader will identify and maintain a target list of potential partners where Extreme can provide a unique and compelling competitive advantage for the partner. The role requires excellent collaboration skills working across functions (Sales, Operations, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.) to identify, evaluate, and execute partner relationships. The role requires a strong balance of strategy and execution.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
· Manage and grow existing and new partnerships located within our Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
· Drive funnel creation via marketing events, digital campaigns, and field alignment for Extreme’s Pacific Northwest and Rocky Mountain regions.
· Ensure adoption and adherence among Extreme’s partner base to Extreme’s partner program.
· Forecast channel led opportunities and help them close when and where appropriate.
· Develop the right partnerships based on the Extreme portfolio, business goals and strategy, by maintaining a strong understanding of the current and new business.
· Create and execute regionally focused business plans to implement new partner recommendations, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are aligned.
· Build and mating C-Level relationships within core partnerships within the region.
· Collaborate with our Partner Account Managers, Field Sales, and Engineering to drive growth, enablement, and new revenue opportunities within the region.
· Become a partner subject matter expert and trusted advisor for internal and external audiences in how to maximize partner relationships with Extreme.
Required Skill Set & Experience:
· 5+ years of Channel experience preferred, within the Pacific Northwest region is a plus.
· Ideal candidate is located in either the Greater Denver or Greater Seattle areas.
· Effective quantitative skills, strategic thinking, and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think creatively and work independently.
· Critical thinking skills to work through complex, multi-faceted challenges with relation to business processes and procurement.
· Experience working with Salesforce, Clari, Tableau, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Suite.
· Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with people across Extreme.
· Strong presentation skills for presenting to multiple levels internally and within partner organizations, including the C-suite.
· OTE on a 50/50 split is based on region, experience and qualifications 180,000-210,000.
