Job Summary:
The Field Service Representative III (FSR III) is a senior-level technician providing advanced technical, operational, and training support for Epirus HPM-CUAS systems. FSR IIIs act as the technical lead during field operations and deployments, conduct detailed system diagnostics, and interface directly with program offices and engineering teams. This position combines hands-on expertise with leadership, mentorship, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead installation, commissioning, and sustainment of deployed systems.
- Conduct advanced fault isolation, software configuration, and system-level troubleshooting.
- Serve as primary field point-of-contact for customer operations and mission support.
- Deliver New Equipment Training (NET) and mentorship to junior FSRs.
- Provide detailed feedback to engineering and logistics for continuous product improvement.
- Support operational assessments, testing, and extended OCONUS deployments.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience supporting complex defense or communications systems.
- Ability to lead small teams in remote or austere environments.
- Active Secret clearance: TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on experience with counter-UAS or directed energy systems.
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
- Experience developing field procedures, checklists, or technical documentation.
- FAA Part 107 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Routine manual lifting of objects 50-80 pounds such as boxes and other equipment. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; high lift equipment up to 40 feet, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment.
- Typical overseas assignments are frequently performed in both internal and external environments with a variety of weather conditions. Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).
- This position will require overseas travel. Candidates should be willing to be on travel / TDY away from their home location 90 – 120-day durations, in hazardous duty locations.
- FAA Part 107 certification
