Elementary Robotics is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager (PMO) to join our passionate team. We’re a cutting-edge AI startup that is revolutionizing how vision inspection can radically transform quality assurance across manufacturing sites worldwide. With a global team and deployments across the map, we are looking for a Project Manager to bring structure, organization, clarity and momentum to our cross-functional team and be the face of our customer deployments.

In this role, you’ll be front-and-center at the heart of delivering end solutions to our customers. Triaging with Engineering, Product, Sales, Finance, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are scoped properly, on time, and executed meticulously, you will be a key player on our team. As we scale, you’ll be able to build and evolve our PMO practices both internally and externally. Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Own end-to-end project delivery across internal technical teams for external client implementations
    • Develop detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocations
    • Drive daily/weekly stand-ups, project sprint planning, retrospectives, and status updates
    • Identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies
    • Maintain project documentation, timelines and KPIs
    • Provide updates to cross functional team weekly
  • PMO and Process Leadership:
    • Establish PMO frameworks and project governance
    • Define best practices for project intake, prioritization, and execution tracking
    • Maintain and/or implement tools for transparency and reporting (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc)
    • Be a Champion for continuous improvement in team processes and communication
  • Stakeholder and Client Engagement:
    • Act as a key liaison between both technical and non-technical teams
    • Ensure clear alignment on deliverables, timelines, project roadmaps, expectations and status with all stakeholders
    • Support client onboarding and ensure timely delivery of milestones in deployment projects
    • Communicate effectively with external partners, customers, and vendors
  • Manage hardware inventory and procurement process for equipment and coordinate build process for physical deployments
  • Perform light office support in conjunction with remote team members
  • This role will initially be an IC role, with opportunity to manage as team expands


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in project management, preferably in the machine vision, automation, or technology industry and/or AI/ML startups with hybrid product and software.
  • Proven success in managing collaboration across cross-functional teams in fast-paced, iterative environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities without losing sight of details or deadlines
  • Familiarity with product development cycles, especially in AI or computer vision
  • Utmost level of professionalism, as you engage with everyone from line managers to executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach
  • MUST be located in/around our HQ in South Pasadena, CA, as this position is expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week
  • Nice to have qualifications: PMP/Scrum Master or similar certifications; Familiarity with compliance, QA, and deployment processes in manufacturing or logistics
