About the role

This Senior Product Manager role requires a technically strong platform leader who can independently drive Kubernetes-based, hybrid, and on-prem architecture initiatives. The role combines deep infrastructure expertise with ownership of OEM partnerships, on-prem storage integrations, observability, usage tracking, and billing systems. The ideal candidate bridges distributed systems architecture with commercial and partner strategy, ensuring the platform scales securely, operates reliably, and supports modern consumption and embedded deployment models across enterprise environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define and execute the platform strategy across Kubernetes-based, hybrid, and on-prem environments (Kubernetes distributions and multi-cluster deployments, including OpenShift).
  • Collaborate on architecture and roadmap initiatives spanning control plane design, cluster lifecycle management, networking, security, and enterprise deployment patterns.
  • Drive OEM partnership strategy, including integrations with on-prem storage and embedded deployment models.
  • Own product capabilities related to observability, telemetry, usage tracking, and consumption-based billing on-prem environments.
  • Design and deliver usage reporting, cost management, and billing system integrations to support enterprise and OEM customers.
  • Independently lead deep technical discussions with engineering, partners, and enterprise platform teams.
  • Translate complex infrastructure, storage, and networking constraints into scalable, supportable product capabilities.
  • Owning the documentation of all product requirements, deliverables and user enablement content.
  • Owning and driving clear communication across engineering and support teams to ensure product-related issues transition smoothly through defined channels.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience with ownership of platform, infrastructure, or distributed systems products.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture, including control plane, networking, storage, RBAC, and multi-cluster deployments.
  • Experience with OpenShift, or other enterprise Kubernetes distributions in hybrid or on-prem environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working with OEM partnerships, on-premises storage integrations, or embedded software environments.
  • Deep understanding of observability systems, telemetry pipelines, usage tracking, and billing architectures (including consumption-based models).
  • Experience defining non-functional requirements such as scalability, high availability, resilience, and performance.
  • Ability to independently drive architectural discussions and make informed trade-offs across platform, billing, and partner ecosystems.

Soft Skills & Hypergrowth Environment:

  • Operates independently and thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills; can clearly articulate complex architectural trade-offs.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused, and aligned with core values of ownership, accountability, and technical excellence.

Bonus points if you have

  • Direct experience working with air-gapped or highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
  • Experience supporting large-scale multi-cluster or global deployments.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional programs, including coordination with OEM partners and external vendors.
  • Experience with AI agent integrations and lakehouse architectures is a strong plus.
