Job Summary

The Mental Health Lead functions as a foundational source to evaluate, develop, implement, and maintain clinical standards and best practices for the mental health team. The Lead helps the clinic facilitate new programs, implement, and coordinate the clinical side of new provider onboarding. The Lead provider works with the clinic leadership team to shape the overall clinic program, as well as help with strategic programming for the future.

This position functions in a variety of both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Lead Provider responsibilities include working both independently and collaboratively with your team, staff and the clinic leadership team in accordance with quality and regulatory standards, professional standards of practice, as well as company and/or clinic-specific policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads a clinical chart review process every other month

  • Monitors member satisfaction and complaints and address them with the appropriate team members

  • Leads and organizes clinical observations between providers one time per quarter

  • Assists in hiring, coaching, and developing talent. Assists in standardizing new hire credentials, and evaluating candidate’s clinical skills and competencies. Supports onboarding and training new team members. Encourages continuing professional education and development to enhance learning and meet licensing expectations. Leads initiatives to increase employee engagement.

  • Promotes team collaboration by organizing/participating in clinical grand round meetings, and team meetings.

  • Develops and manages approved health prevention / education classes for members

  • Manages equipment / supply needs for the mental health team, coordinating with the practice manager on the ongoing budget.

  • Collaborates with the business development team to plan and execute client events

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced certification within your area of practice

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in your area of practice

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Mac OS (Pages, KeyNote, and Numbers), Google office products or other client systems such as Microsoft Office or HP products

  • Must be at least 0.8 FTE employee

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong team player with excellent oral, verbal and presentation communication skills

  • Proven ability to interface with all customer levels (physicians and organizational staff).

  • Competent using computer applications (Google products, Mac OS user preferred) including database, spreadsheet, and document creation

  • Self-directed individual with polished professionalism and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in dealing with sensitive or confidential information

  • Passion for best-in-class member experiences (patient-centered medical home model) and for providing next generation healthcare

  • Experience in developing educational programs, policies and procedures

  • Thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing, demanding environment.

  • Served as a Crossover Health employee for at least one year.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Requires standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.

  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

The base pay range for this position is $133,387.00 to $173,403 per year. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
