Job Summary
The Practice Director is responsible for ensuring the clinic operating controls and metrics are achieved, including maintaining clinical excellence, ensuring operating effectiveness and efficiency, planning for future clinic growth, and achieving financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
Provides patient/member care, using Crossover’s patient-centered medical home approach.
Develops annual region/market goals and practice management plans, working with the Triad to monitor progress and continuously improve region/market performance.
Provides direction to ensure all clinical, financial, and administrative client and corporate metrics are captured and reported timely and accurately.
Ensures implementation of Crossover’s standards of care and operations workflows throughout the region/region.
Ensures the region/market is operating in compliance with all applicable regulations and quality standards.
Partners with Triad, operations, and key stakeholders to develop and implement new lines of service.
Partners with Triad to develop and manage clinic financials, including budget expense tracking and patient co-pay collections.
Partners with the Triad to identify and recommend clinic growth ideas, including plans for client outreach and growing clinic utilization.
Co-leads clinical communication, supports corporate and client communication efforts.
Hires, coaches, and develops leadership talent. Assists in onboarding and training new team members. Encourages continuing professional education and development to enhance learning and meet licensing expectations.
Provides leadership to ensure schedule coverage is optimized across the region/market, including PRN pool management.
Conducts regular meetings with the Practice Management team to provide leadership in achieving practice goals and metrics.
Manages assigned staff, inclusive of Care Navigators, Leads, Hosts, and Operations leaders (dependent on market/region size as appropriate).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active nursing license
10+ years of clinical leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MS, MBA, and/or MPH)
Advanced training or certification in management of clinic operations
Experience with primary care, physical medicine, coaching and other ancillary services.
Leadership skills and experience working in a highly collaborative, team environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Clinical background in delivering multi-site, multi-client health care services at scale
Experience implementing successful change with large clinical teams
Able to measure, analyze and report back key clinical data/information to patients, care teams, and client representatives.
Passionate about delivering best-in-class patient care experiences in an integrated patient-centered primary care model.
Exhibits a strong work ethic, flexible, innovative, efficient and focused on results/outcomes
Sets the standard for personal integrity, honesty, teamwork, transparency, and accountability
Physical Job Requirements
May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.
Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Includes full range of body motion including potential of handling and lifting patients.
Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
